Mom's Obituary in the Wichita Eagle
Thanks to all of you who visited, sent notes, and most importantly, prayed for her.
A brief photostory of her life follows:
I knew Judy through the Alliance of the ADA. Her presidency ended several years of strife in the Alliance just because of the warm and loving person she was. She was also very determined! Judy and I had many wonderful conversations about important things and about nothing important at all. We shared a love and appreciation for our Catholic faith. I know that her faith sustained her though good times and bad.
I have not been able to attend national AADA events for the past few years, so did not know the condition of Judy’s health of late. I am truly sorry that she has passed away. I will miss her immensely as I know her family will most of all.
May God bless her and may perpetual light shine upon her. May her memory be eternal. With deepest sympathy, Julene Newland-Pyfer
Judy was a dear friend. I was amazed at how she maintained her loving smile and mischevious twinkle in her eyes no matter what. Heaven is a better place because of her presence. Thank God for allowing her to touch our lives here at Santa Marta.
I was thinking about Judy this morning, and wondering how things were going, just about the time your email was going out. Thanks for including the web address. What a beautiful picture of her! She and I worked together when she was president of AADA, and it was such a pleasure. I remember Ed very well, and all of the support he gave to Judy during some stressful times. She was a great lady, and will be sorely missed.
