Late Winter 2007

I didn’t forget about the blog…really. After the start of the new year, things got (and remain) really, really busy so I thought I’d post a quick update.
The one constant of winter in the Pac NW is that it rains a lot. And it hasn’t disappointed this year. As a result, activities are somewhat limited to indoor arts and crafts. The Pac NW has lots of artists and their might just be a correlation between the output levels and the amount of rain we get.
After a full quarter without travel (thankfully), I finally had to get back on planes, and it’s been a busy couple of weeks for the Halls. Becky’s been busy with the important stuff, while I focus on things that keep our kids in art supplies and toys.
I was in New York this past week and did manage to make a special connection. For the first time in 15 years, I was able to reconnect with a friend with whom I’d lost touch. After we finished the business discussions, we took in a show @ BB King’s on Times Square. We ended up enjoying Chris Difford’s acoustic show there, which was largely an acoustic recap of the “Best of Squeeze.” Really good show and Chris actually got very emotional in the middle of a performance of “Some Fantastic Place.” Very fitting and it was a cool performance to see. Was a special treat to enjoy good music with a good friend.
But my guess is that most who read this blog are even more interested in what’s happing with the younger members of the family. So here’s a brief update on latest happenings. The cameras never stop rolling around here (it’s the blogger’s fault for lapses in postings).
We have a special occasion coming up so the next post will be coming up very shortly.
Hope you are well….more soon from this end!
